Slade 教授的简介：
Prof. Slade is Research Leader in Materials, Energy and Nanochemistry at University of Surrey. His Research focuses on Tailored Energy Materials, Devices and Future Energy Solutions, and on Bioelectrochemical systems for both energy and environmental cleansing. This includes participation in 2 multi university EPSRC funded SUPERGEN Consortia aimed at renewable and sustainable energy production, storage and recovery: the Energy Storage Consortium(renewed for 4 years from February 2010) and the Biological Fuel Cells Consortium(Leader of the Consortium nationally, renewed for 4 years form April 2010). Additional, multi disciplinary programs include a consortium in Alkaline Membrane Fuel Cells and separate Technology Strategy programs with industry and other universities. Active grants form EPSRC(some collaborative) currently total in excess of £2 million locally, with other funding additional to this. The team led by Prof. Slade currently includes 20+ individuals(research students, post docs and 4 academics)
